“Dirty dirty dirty ripper” is what I sent my friends as soon as the show ended. First quarter felt like Trey teasing us to “approach the night with caution” and with a reminder that last night wasn’t “nearly fast enough for you.” And then they dove into Divided and the team launched. Caspian-Crosseyed each individually were fantastic editions, and then kept coming back with reprise after reprise. The last quarter was just straight dark and nasty, punctuated by an all-venue Carini. 5-song encore just kept going and going, and the Woodstock respect with Fire was a dream send. One of the best shows I’ve seen live.
