The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.

I remember my friend Andy turn to me probably about a half hour in and just simply say, "They haven't finished David Bowie." I would return the favor during a specific Runaway Jim about 45 minutes up Rte. 146 you may have heard about, a few years later.
I had seen a handful of shows to this point, but somewhere in that Bowie I knew as long as this band plays, I'm going to try and seem them do so as much as I can.
Enjoy your day.
